Book Review: Stone Cold

Hello fellow readers. Let me tell you this amazing book, Stone Cold the 3rd in David Baldacci’s Camel Club series. As only Mr. Baldacci can, this fast paced story has more twists and turns then you can imagine, all leading to an explosive ending.

Annabelle Conroy, now an honorary member of the Camel Club, confesses to Oliver that she swindled forty million dollars from casino king Jerry Bagger, the man who murdered her mother. Jerry is stopping at nothing to find and kill Annabelle and is getting closer every day. As the Club circles to protect and hopefully get Annabelle out of danger for good, a new threat more deadly and ruthless than Bagger appears and is dead set on taking out our hero, Oliver.

Oliver’s shadowy past starts to rise as members of his now defunct Triple Six team turn up dead. The man behind these murders is Harry Finn. Finn, appears to be a doting father and loving husband who works behind the scenes to keep our nation safe. But Finn has a different side and is an unstoppable killer that may prove to much for Oliver.

As only Baldacci can this fast paced, thrill ride comes to an amazing and explosive ending that will forever change the club.

On my must read scale of 1 don’t bother and 5 a true page turner. I give Stone Cold a 5.

I’m currently enjoying the next in the series, Divine Justice and what a great follow-up story. Until next time, keep reading and remember Without music, life has no soul.” The song I’m through , is from my latest release R.E.’s Style

Enjoy
