Book Review: The Einstein Prophecy

Book Review The Einstein Prophecy

It seems I’ve fallen behind on my reviews. I’ve been very busy with my grandson, the release of the new CD 10 and my day job and haven’t been updating the site with book reviews. So let’s get back at it.

Robert Masello’s The Einstein Prophecy was really a great read. The story opens in 1944 as war rages, our hero of the story Lieutenant Lucas Athan is part of a team recovering spoils of war. Artwork and relics seized by Hitler. In STRASBOURG, ALSACE-LORRAINE his team recovers a sarcophagus excavated from an Egyptian tomb. But what they find is more than just a sarcophagus.

The box is shipped to Princeton University for study. Lucas, aided by brilliant archaeologist Simone Rashid struggle to decipher the writing on the sarcophagus. When the sarcophagus is opened it unleashes forces for both good and unmitigated evil. The fate of the world hangs not only on Professor Einstein’s secret research but also on Lucas’s ability to defeat an unholy adversary more powerful than anything he ever imagined.

This one is a real page turner and one that I consumed quickly. On my scale of 1 to 5, 1 being don’t bother and 5 a true page turner. I give The Einstein Prophecy a 4.5.
