Book Review: Split Second

In this review I returned to one of my favorite genres, Science Fiction, with the review of Split Second, by Douglas E Richards.

Our heroine, Jenna Morrison finds herself fighting for her life and soon after fighting for all of humanity, when her fiancé Nathan Wexler, a brilliant physicist thinks he’s found a way to send matter a split second back into the past. While time travel to an instant earlier seems useless, Jenna comes to realize that no ability in history has ever been more profound or far-reaching then this.

Without giving away anymore of this story, I will say this, Time Travel is insane. Look out for reference to other science fiction story’s dropped in as reference points that are both funny and make you think. The characters and plot of this amazing story are well throughout and written. The story keeps you guessing who are the bad guys and how will this end for Jenna.

This one had me turning pages until late into the evening every night. A very good read. On my scale or 1 to 5, 1 being don’t bother and 5 a real page turner. I gave Split Second a solid 5. A really well written book with lots of plot twist and well thought out character development.
